The State Rally for 2026 will be held from Friday 27th March to Sunday 29th March 2026, the main venue will be the
Buell Room at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill, Richardsons Harley Davidson, 468 Westbury Road, Prospect Vale, 7250.
Our display day will be on Saturday 28th March at the National Automobile Museum in Launceston from 10am.
Full details and Rally Application form will be available in the New Year but the outline will be as follows:
Friday Evening from 6pm – Welcome Event in the Buell Room at the Iron Horse Bar with Cash Bar and Food Platters available.
Saturday from 10am – Assemble in the main car park of the National Automobile Museum at 84 Lindsay Street, Launceston for a Display of our vehicles. Entry to the Museum will be provided at a discount rate.
Saturday Evening from 6.30pm – State Rally Dinner and Presentations. Dress in your Glad Rags for a 3 course sit down meal in the Buell Room of the Iron Horse Bar and Grill. Details of Menus will be provided by Jenni at a later date, but it should be noted that the meal will have a personal choice available for each of the 3 courses.
Sunday Morning – Meet for a Farewell breakfast or coffee at a venue to be advised.
There is an abundance of suitable Accommodation within striking distance of the Iron Horse Bar and Grill, and we will leave it to Members to select the appropriate venue to suit themselves.
Examples are – Launceston Country Club and Casino Hotel Rooms and Villas, the Old Tudor Hotel, the Village Motor Inn and Discovery Parks, plus a host of accommodation in Launceston itself.

We will have our own meeting room on the ground floor, to the left with bar and dining facilities in the same room. There is ample parking for members and a Monday special night for locals, senior meals as well as regular bar meals.
This regular run occurs on the first Wednesday of every month. Previous attendees are emailed each month with details of the upcoming run.

The National Automobile Museum in Launceston is hosting a British Classics day, on Sunday the 7th of June, from 10.00 am.
All British cars and motorcycles are welcome.

Monthly midweek lunch run for JCCT members
NOTE: Changed arrangements for travel
Due to the current fuel situation, we have decided to ask members to make their way directly to lunch venues, so as to arrive at about 12.30 pm.
Upcoming Destinations:
August 13: Lunch at British Hotel at Deloraine. (NOTE: venue changed!) Meet at the venue at 12.30, RSVP’s to Gordon on 0414 903 791.
September 10: Lunch at Blue Berry Barn Café Frankford.
October 8: Venue to be advised.
November 12: Lunch at Windows on Westella.
December 10: Northern Section Xmas Lunch, Venue TBA.
RSVPs are essential for catering purposes, and MUST be made by the Sunday before the event
to either Miranda on 0413 885 882, or Gordon on 0414 903 791.

Coffee and Cars at Richmond.
3rd Sunday of each month, 9am to noon.
Open to all newcomers; just turn up and show off your vehicle. Enjoy a coffee and a chat. Wander the many shops and galleries.
Join us for lunch at Forcett Lakes Restaurant and Golf Club.

Our Annual Ausmas (Christmas in July) is on again 24th to 26th July. 2026
We are trying a different area this year and have booked the Tandara Hotel Motel at Triabunna.
There is only 18 units available, so book asap to ensure your room. Cost $120 per unit.
They offer free camping onsite, so if you have a van or caravan, come along and join us.
Friday night we can either dine in or utilise the BBQ area.
Saturday, enjoy a tour around the area to Orford, Maria Island or visit the well-known Fish Van.
We are organising a Christmas themed dinner at night, and the Hotel is organising music for us.
All units come with microwave, kettle, toaster and bar fridge, so you can bring your own Breakfast supplies or visit one of the many eateries in the area.
