SS 100 Replica

This magnificent recreation of the iconic SS 100 started life as a post war 3.5 litre saloon. It was owned by the owner’s brother, John, who unfortunately had an accident in the car in the 70’s, but later bought parts to repair it with the intention of doing just that.

However, due to circumstances, the car was passed onto Peter, who briefly considered repairing the saloon, but thought an SS100 special would be a better and more enjoyable project.

Peter obtained scaled drawings of the SS 100 chassis and the components locally pressed and assembled.

The body is an authentic recreation supplied by Suffolk in the UK.

All machining and engineering was done locally, with assembly carried out by the owner.

The car is truly a credit to the skill and patience of Peter, and he should be justly proud.

Hoping to see it on the roads and at our next annual display.
