Southern Car Enthusiasts Midweek Drive – 1st Wednesday
Apr 5 @ 10:30 am

Thanks to Robin Wilmot (and Zube)for organising the previous run when 60 of us arrived at the Claremont Golf Club for lunch. We travelled via Tea Tree and Brighton on a rather picturesque route. A highlight was that one of our number ran afoul of the constabulary and was fined for speeding!

The arrangements for the March 120th Wayne’s car enthusiasts drive and lunch are below,

Wednesday 1 March – the forecast is 24 percent rain with a high of 17 deg. So it is roofs on/off as you please!

– starting at the Rivulet Café, bottom of Anglesea Street, South Hobart, around 10.15am for morning coffee.

parking – plenty of space in the new parking area so park as many as we can there as it’s a wonderful photo opportunity and leaves spaces closer to the swings etc for the young families..

– departing at 11.15am and arriving around 12.30pm for lunch. The cost is $30 a head, with 5 choices of main and 2 desserts.

Venue clue – Wayne took us there  a long time ago. The route is slightly longer than normal. An elongated anticlockwise loop stretching the imagination.

– RSVP required by 5.00pm on Monday 27 February

– wear your name badge if you have one.

Remaining drives for the year are as follows,

March – Wednesday 1st (120th Drive) – to be arranged by Bob Leeson

April – Wednesday 5th (121st Drive) – to be arranged by Lyn Cengia

May – Wednesday 3rd (122nd Drive) – to be arranged by Bob Leeson
