Welcome to the JCCT
Unfortunately, six members who attended the State Rally at the weekend have tested positive for COVID. We urge everyone who attended the rally, to monitor their health, and immediately get tested if you show any symptoms.
Welcome to the website of the Jaguar Car Club of Tasmania; we trust owners of Jaguar and Daimler cars will find it informative. There are lots of resources available for members and intending members by way of the library, links to other websites, and technical information and advice from members. A members-only area provides access to club magazines, as well as various important documents relating to club activities. The JCCT is a member of the Australian Council of Jaguar Clubs, which gives you an even broader avenue for information sharing and research.
An important part of club life is the social aspect, and we have at least one club event per month in both the South and North of the State (see Events). Every year in February we hold our annual State Concours display; the venue is generally rotated between the South, North and North West, and the 2017 rally will be based at Devonport. Jaguar and Daimler owners may exhibit their cars for display and judging, or display only. Owners are encouraged to be involved in this and other displays which are held from time to time, for example “Shannons Show and Shine”, which is held in Hobart each October/November and “Picnic at Ross”, a Post Vintage Car Club initiative held the 3rd Sunday in May.
Every year, usually at Easter or at a time decided by the host Club, there is a Jaguar National Rally, which all members are invited to attend or participate in by entering their cars for display or judging. The Jaguar Car Club of Tasmania hosted one of the most successful rallies of all time in 2009, and in 2015 the National Rally was staged in Launceston. Each state hosts the rally and post rally tour on a rotational basis, and to secure a trophy at a National Rally is a prized achievement. The 2016 National Rally was held in Queensland.
We trust you will enjoy this website, and encourage you to email members of the committee with any queries you may have.
