Central highlands lunch.  Meet at the train park Granton at the end of the Bridgewater bridge at 9am.
Morning tea stop along the way with lunch at the pub.

Tamar Valley Run
Aug 25 @ 10:00 am

Blow the cobwebs out of your Cats and join us for an End of Winter tour of the beautiful Tamar Valley. Meet at the NAMT carpark for a 10am. departure and we’ll head out via the East Tamar Hwy to Low Head and the Pilot Station. Have a cup of coffee at the Coxswains Cottage Cafe, or grab a carry out and explore the adjacent Pilot Station Museum.

We head south again from Low Head, hopefully via Mt. Direction, crossing the river by the Batman Bridge and heading to Beauty Point. Pulling into the Seahorse World carpark we make our way to the upstairs Restaurant at Seahorse World for our lunch break. For those with a mind to, they can take a tour of Seahorse World or Platypus House while we are there.

After lunch we can take a leisurely scenic drive along the banks of the West Tamar towards our homes.

Southern Cat Chat – 1st Monday

The monthly Cat Chat is held at the new Shannons meeting room, at 212-218 Murray Street in Hobart.   The meeting room is up the lane from Murray Street, behind the Shannons office.  As we are unable to leave the door open, please continue up the lane a little more, and knock loudly on the roller doors and we will let you in.

Car Enthusiasts Mid-Week Monthly Drive & Lunch – South – September 2019

Depart 11.30 for lunch after a drive.

The drives for 2019 will be on the first Wednesday of each month commencing February – you may wish to diarise these now.

Assemble at NAMT Carpark, Launceston at 11.15hrs.
Victoria’s Cafe in The Park for morning coffee.
1hr. drive to lunch venue. Venue and route instructions will be issued on the day.

Shannons ‘Convict to Classics’ Car and Bike Show
Sep 15 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

The 3rd annual Shannons Convict to Classics Car and Bike Show will be held at Woolmers estate, Longford, on Sunday September 15.  Admission is $5 per displayed vehicle.

The Annual General Meeting of the JCCT will be held on Sunday 15th September 2019 at the Oatlands RSL.

Please arrive at 11am, for an 11.30 Meeting time.

After the meeting, a light lunch of soup, sandwiches and desserts will be provided.
