A bright sunny day saw 6 cars make their way to Orford via two alternate routes, with a 20 question quiz to complete on the way. A tie resulted between Rod & Anne, and Tony & Shirley, and a bottle of win was the prize. After lunch at the local hotel, we adjourned to a nearby cafe for coffees etc before heading home. An enjoyable day for all involved.
A terrific day at the Don River Railway, near Devonport. A trip on a steam train, followed by a tour of the facility and workshop area. Then a short drive to Devonport for a great lunch at the Waterfront Cafe. Wonderful to see some longtime members from the northwest along to this event. A most enjoyable day.
After a morning coffee at the Westbury Maze, we proceed to the delightful home and gardens of the Trenchards, at Lanena. Here, a beautiful BBQ was provided by our hosts. A great day, with a 'garden quiz' to make things interesting.
Food glorious food... We started at the Westbury Maze for coffee, then proceeded to the 41 Degrees South Salmon Farm for a tasting, tour and lunch. The on to Ashgrove Cheese for some after-lunch delights. A great day, lots of fun.
