About Us

JCCT

The Jaguar Car Club of Tasmania is a friendly group of people of all ages and from all walks of life who have one thing in common - appreciation of their cars.

Membership of the Club is open to anyone with an appreciation of fine cars.

Members are sent the regular monthly club magazine "Jaguar Torque" which is a publication containing articles by members, of club events, articles from other Jaguar magazines, information regarding future events, regalia and vehicles for sale.

You can read about the History of the JCCT here.

Welcome to our new site

Welcome to the website of the Jaguar Car Club of Tasmania. We trust you will find this site informative. There are lots of resources available for members and intending members by way of the library, links to other websites, and advice from present members. Our club is a member of the Australian Council of Jaguar Clubs, which gives you an even broader avenue for information sharing and research.

An important part of club life is the social aspect, and we have at least one club event per month (see Coming Events). Every year in February we hold our annual State Concours display. The venue is generally rotated between the South, North and North West, and in 2012 the State Concours will be hosted in Launceston. Owners may exhibit their cars for display and judging, or display only. Owners are encouraged to be involved in this and other displays which are held from time to time, for example Shannons Show and Shine, which is held in Hobart each October.

Every year at Easter there is a Jaguar National Rally, which all members are invited to attend or participate in by entering their cars for display or judging. The Jaguar Car Club of Tasmania hosted one of the most successful rallies of all time in 2009, and in 2012 the National Rally will be held in Western Australia, hosted by the JCCWA. Each state hosts the rally and post rally tour on a rotational basis, and to secure a trophy at a National Rally is a prized achievement.

We trust you will enjoy this website, and encourage you to email members of the committee with any queries you may have.

Kind Regards,

Rod Force, President
