State Rally 2026

The State Rally for 2026 will be held from Friday 27th March to Sunday 29th March 2026, the main venue will be the Buell Room at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill, Richardsons Harley Davidson, 468 Westbury Road, Prospect Vale, 7250. Our display day will be on Saturday 28th March at the National Automobile Museum in Launceston from 10am. Full details and Rally Application form will be available in the New Year but the outline will be as follows: Friday Evening from 6pm – Welcome Event in the Buell Room at the Iron Horse Bar with Cash Bar and Food Platters available. Saturday from 10am – Assemble in the main car park of the National Automobile Museum at 84 Lindsay Street, Launceston for a Display of our vehicles. Entry to the Museum will be provided at a discount rate. Saturday Evening from 6.30pm – State Rally Dinner and Presentations. Dress in your Glad Rags for a 3 course sit down meal in the Buell Room of the Iron Horse Bar and Grill. Details of Menus will be provided by Jenni at a later date, but it should be noted that the meal will have a personal choice available for each of the 3 courses. Sunday Morning – Meet for a Farewell breakfast or coffee at a venue to be advised. There is an abundance of suitable Accommodation within striking distance of the Iron Horse Bar and Grill, and we will leave it to Members to select the appropriate venue to suit themselves. Examples are – Launceston Country Club and Casino Hotel Rooms and Villas, the Old Tudor Hotel, the Village Motor Inn and Discovery Parks, plus a host of accommodation in Launceston itself. <h4>Hurry: Only four units left!</h4> Our Annual Ausmas (Christmas in July) is on again 24th to 26th July. 2026 We are trying a different area this year and have booked the Tandara Hotel Motel at Triabunna. There is only 18 units available, so book asap to ensure your room. Cost $120 per unit. They offer free camping onsite, so if you have a van or caravan, come along and join us. Friday night we can either dine in or utilise the BBQ area. Saturday, enjoy a tour around the area to Orford, Maria Island or visit the well-known Fish Van. Evandale Steam Festival

Sunday 20th September – Jaguar Car Club Display at the Evandale Rail Festival. <div dir="ltr">We have been invited to display our Club vehicles at the Evandale Rail Festival.</div> <div dir="ltr">This is a prestigious Event which regularly attracts in excess of 1000 people, so it will be good publicity for the Club.</div> <div dir="ltr"> As a combined North/Northwest/South Event all our Members are encouraged to participate. </div> <div dir="ltr">Members should make their way to Morven Park in Evandale between 9am and 9.45am.</div> <div dir="ltr"> Entry to Morven Park is via Barclay Street and our Display will be set up in the Staff Car Park of the school which is 50 metres on the right on the entry road. </div> <div dir="ltr">The Event consists of an extensive small scale railway layout, including steam locomotives which provide rides for children and adults at $4 for the day, plus a display of model railways by the Launceston Scale Model Club, inside the school building. Pearns are also providing classic steam locomotives and suchlike.</div> <div dir="ltr">There will also be Craft and Art stalls which will be of interest.</div> <div dir="ltr"> 2 coffee and food vans will be present, and the town is a short walk away. </div> <div dir="ltr">Entry to the Event is free of charge for Display vehicles and their owners.</div> <div dir="ltr">In order to gauge the scale of our attendance and map out the car park I would like potential attendees to let me know by Wednesday the 16th.
