Southern Cat Chat – 1st Monday

The monthly Cat Chat is held at the new Shannons meeting room, at 212-218 Murray Street in Hobart.   The meeting room is up the lane from Murray Street, behind the Shannons office.  As we are unable to leave the door open, please continue up the lane a little more, and knock loudly on the roller doors and we will let you in.

Any queries please ring a Committee Member.

State Rally – Beauty Point

The State Rally is on again, and this time the display will be held on the lawns in front of the Riviera Hotel at Beauty Point, overlooking the picturesque Tamar River.

Geeveston Car Show (Weather permitting)

Meet at Vince’s Saddle on Huon Highway just past the Longley turn off (8:45am for 9:00am departure), for a nice drive in-convoy to Geeveston.

Entry is by gold coin donation. BYO lunch or buy on site. RSVP is NOT essential.

National Rally 2019 – Border Revival

Welcome to all Jaguar enthusiasts and Jaguar car club members from across Australia to the 50th Jaguar National Rally. This rally celebrates the outstanding achievement of fifty golden years.

To commemorate, we return to the site of the first ever Australian Jaguar National rally in the border towns of Albury and Wodonga which may explain the name, “Border Revival”

Depart 11.30 for lunch after a drive.

The drives for 2019 will be on the first Wednesday of each month commencing February – you may wish to diarise these now.

Shannons Classic Rallye

TasVacations brings to the motoring enthusiast the Shannons Classic Rallye 2019; the best way to experience one of the world’s most unique destinations and the ultimate tarmac rally – Targa Tasmania.

You will mix with Targa Tasmania competitors at the official start and finish of the event, leading the field in your classic car at selected stages throughout, in front of hundreds of adoring spectators.

Picnic At Ross 2019 – NOTE DATE CHANGE

Picnic at Ross

Being held earlier than previous years, the Picnic at Ross will return to the village streets. The “Picnic in the Village” atmosphere will hopefully be alive with car owners being able to set up their tables and chairs for the day.

Southerners Meet at train park at Granton at 9am to go in convoy, so that we will be able to arrive together, thus park together.
