Picnic at Ross

Southerners

We will go in convoy so that we will be able to arrive together, thus park together. Proposed to meet at Pontville sports ground at 9am to meet the 10am start time. Hoping to meet up with the Northern membership at the southern entrance to Ross.

The monthly Cat Chat is held at the new Shannons meeting room, at 212-218 Murray Street in Hobart.   The meeting room is up the lane from Murray Street, behind the Shannons office.  As we are unable to leave the door open, please continue up the lane a little more, and knock loudly on the roller doors and we will let you in.

Queen’s Birthday Weekend Getaway

Queen’s Birthday Weekend Getaway Meander Valley & Westbury Gingerbread Cottages

It’s been a few years, but back on again! Still in the planning phases, but will go something like this.

Saturday = arrival. Afternoon tea at Deloraine Performing Arts Centre, with performance exclusively for JCCT by Deloraine Junior Band. Dinner provided and served at cottages.

Sunday = walking tour of Westbury (by Westbury and Districts Historical Society), then drive to lunch venue. Perhaps a sneak peek at a private car collection (stay tuned). This will be the June monthly run for the North. Dinner at local venue (TBA).

Monday = departure. A special package will be put together for JCCT members. Numbers will be limited, so “first in best dressed”.

Meet at the Rivulet Cafe, bottom of Anglesea St. Sth Hobart, 11am.
Depart 11.30 for lunch after a drive.

Monthly Midweek Lunch Run – North

Monthly midweek lunch run for JCCT members.
Assemble at NAMT Carpark, Launceston at 11.15hrs.
Victoria’s Cafe in The Park for morning coffee.
1hr. drive to lunch venue. Venue and route instructions will be issued on the day.
RSVPs are essential for catering purposes to Gordon Barnard on 0414 903 791.

Dates:  Second Thursday of each month

NOTE : To minimise the clash with the State Rally, the March lunch run will be the THIRD Thursday in March.
