Southern Cat Chat – 1st Monday

The monthly Cat Chat is held at the new Shannons meeting room, at 212-218 Murray Street in Hobart.   The meeting room is up the lane from Murray Street, behind the Shannons office.  As we are unable to leave the door open, please continue up the lane a little more, and knock loudly on the roller doors and we will let you in.

Table Cape – Tulips and “Wonders of Wynyard”

Table Cape & Wynyard– Tulips and “Wonders of Wynyard”

Cars Meet at 9.30am at Anvers chocolate outlet near Latrobe for a 10am departure to Wynyard. 

We will do a coastal convoy tour to Wynyard, where we will view Wonders of Wynyard vintage car museum ($4.50). Then onto Table Cape for a tour of the tulip farm @ discounted rate of $10pp.

Lunch will be at a Killynaught.

Optional drive to Boat Harbour beach at end of day, for those interested.

Classic car Day – Westbury

The Rotary Club of Westbury will be holding a Classic Car Day on the Westbury Village Green on Sunday 22nd October and the Jaguar Club is invited.

Meet at Westbury Gingerbread Cottages at 9:30am, so that we may arrive in convoy at the Westbury Village Green.

Moonah Rotary Festival of Wheels

The second Moonah Rotary Festival of Wheels will be held at the Derwent Entertainment Centre, 601 Brooker Highway, Glenorchy.
The riverside venue provides an ideal setting to showcase diverse vehicles including motorcycles, cars, buses and trucks.

Features include:

  • Multiple Exhibitor categories with expert judging and trophies;
  • Our special feature car category is the mighty Torana in recognition of its 50th birthday;
  • Peter Gee from the ABC will be our MC for the day;
  • Food Vans and a Sausage Sizzle will be available throughout the day;
  • The Eclipse Duo will be entertaining with a mixture of country music and popular sounds from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s;

A Raffle will be drawn with a great first prize of three nights at a luxury Bali villa;

  • Taiko Drummers will perform before the judging and trophies are announced;
  • There will be sponsor trade displays on the day.

In support of Variety Children’s Charity, a motoring enthusiast and music lovers event. Open to all cars – and you get to drive around the track (for a fee 🙂

Meet at the Perth Roadhouse at 9am so that we can arrive in convoy.
