On Thursday 12th November the JCCT put on a pre Christmas "Thank-you" luncheon for the office staff and volunteers of Labor Senator for Tasmania, Carol Brown.
It was a simple affair or sandwiches and savouries, and was much appreciated by all. The Senate Office of Carol Brown was heavily involved in much of the printing and paper supplies for the National Rally (apart from the Rally Magazine), and are continuing to supply this service to our club.
Although this service is available to clubs through any Senate Office, we, as the JCCT do not take this for granted, as it still involves an extra workload for the staff and volunteers. Hence, our appreciation was shown with this small gesture. All the staff were very interested in what we do as a club and our beautiful cars, and although Carol Brown is not a "Petrol Head" as such, she does tell us she does appreciate fine cars.
Rod Force, Des Wighton and Andrew Irving represented the JCCT on the day.
